About the Builder

Ed Willette, owner of Hartford Homes, began working with builders/developers in 1980. He began, in the marketing side of the building business, helping builders with lot acquisitions, development of marketing strategies, the selection of home plans and final sale of new homes. For over 25 years Ed has met with homebuyers to develop plans that suit their individual lifestyle. This experience has resulted in a wealth of knowledge that can be applied to the selection of a home plan, choice of materials and construction of your new home.

Ed had the opportunity to work with some of the finest homebuilders, in Portland, gaining extensive knowledge, of construction materials and workmanship. After nearly 20 years, of working with other builders, he decided that the time was right to open his own construction company.

Hartford Homes started business in 1998 and has completed many homes, in the Portland area. Specializing in custom homes designed for the move up buyers, Hartford Homes has been able to incorporate materials and workmanship found only in high quality homes.

The key to success, for Hartford Homes, has been a very strong working relationship, with the many subcontractors involved in the construction of fine new homes. These tradesmen/tradeswomen have many years of experience in their specialty trades and have become experts, at what they do. It is with their input and experience that Hartford Homes can construct a home with high quality materials and top quality workmanship.
